Pop icon Beyoncé attended Kamala Harris's rally at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston on Friday, where she publicly endorsed the Democratic Party nominee. Her song "Freedom" has been featured in the Harris-Walz campaign leading up to the event.

In a packed venue, Beyoncé took the stage alongside Kelly Rowland to formally support the Harris-Walz ticket just 11 days before the election.

What Did Beyoncé Say?

Beyoncé praised Kamala Harris as "what this country really needs right now—Unity." The 43-year-old Texan emphasized that she was there not as a star but as a mother.

"H-Town! We are so happy to be standing here on this stage as proud Texas women, supporting and celebrating the one and only Vice President Kamala Harris," Beyoncé declared, receiving thunderous applause from the crowd.

"We are on the brink of a significant shift, a moment in history. I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother—one who cares deeply about the world my children, and all of our children, will grow up in.

"A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies. A world without division. Our past, present, and future converge right here. Imagine our daughters growing up to see what’s possible, with no ceilings, no limitations. Picture our grandmothers—think about how they feel right now. Those who have lived to witness this historic day, and even those who are no longer with us. Consider all of their sacrifices.

"The sacrifices that allow us to witness the strength of a woman standing in her power and reimagining what leadership looks like."
